Hello! I’m Ibrahim Abubakar, also known as Diallo, a passionate and dedicated digital professional and community advocate from Ghana. I proudly carry the heritage of the Songhai ethnic group from Northern Mali—the largest empire in African history. My journey is one of resilience, determination, and a relentless pursuit of education and technology to transform lives.

My Story
Born and raised in Kumasi, Ghana, in a nomadic family originally from Northern Mali, I spent my early years shepherding livestock while studying Arabic and Islamic religion. Formal Western education was initially unfamiliar to me, but my strong desire to learn and improve my life propelled me to overcome numerous challenges, including financial hardships and family opposition. I am proud to be the first in my family to complete high school, and I am currently a second-year student at the University of Ghana, where I study Political Science, Philosophy, and Archaeology.
Alongside my academic journey, I have cultivated a passion for technology and digital creativity, which I use to empower my community and clients.
Passion for History and Digital Storytelling
I have a deep love for history, particularly the rich heritage of the Songhai Empire and various ethnic groups across West Africa. To share this passion, I create educational videos that explore these fascinating topics on my YouTube channel, Diallo Gh. Through these videos, I aim to enlighten and inspire viewers about the cultural and historical legacies that shape our identities today. A New Chapter
In February 2025, I traveled to Thailand to meet my love, and on April 4th, 2025, we married in vibrant Bangkok. My wife, Ayo, was born in Louisiana, USA.
Due to my commitment to continuing my education in Ghana, I returned to Kumasi in May 2025 to focus on my studies, while my wife remains in Bangkok.
